Coffence is a parody of a fighting game, where instead of fighting until the last breath, the characters will fight until the last drop of coffee in the cup. Multiplayer is available over a local network or a duel with AI. The gameplay is dynamic, but simple: there are no super-complex combos or blows that can finish off an enemy the first time. Sometimes the enemy jumps up suddenly and tries to take away the last sips of the drink, but it happens so quickly that it is difficult to follow the course of events. Bot opponents have no levels, you cannot increase the difficulty. Battles in Coffence are short, one round will take no more than 3 minutes. There is no way to upgrade your hero or find collectibles in the world.In the campaign mode, you can beat bots and get several mugs. There is a lightning-fast cup of espresso and a massive coffee pot. Each weapon has its strengths and weaknesses. With a sip of coffee, you can restore your health or use a drop and attack with a powerful Coffee Break. Before each battle, a dialog box pops up. To collect all the mugs, you need to go through the campaign with each of the 5 available characters. The heroes are varied: from an office clerk to a pirate, there is even a dog. The general atmosphere of the game is reminiscent of the first hours at work after the weekend, but there is no full-fledged storyline. The graphics are colorful and lively, maintaining the style that is classic for this genre.
