Commandos: Origins offers the player a look at the moment of the birth of a special military unit during World War II. This title takes the RTS genre back to its roots, telling how Jack O'Hara and his five comrades first came together. The group took on operations that were considered too risky for regular troops during the global conflict, carrying out assignments that others refused.The gameplay in Commandos: Origins focuses on controlling 6 characters: Green Beret, Sapper, Sniper, Driver, Marine and Spy. You will have to use the unique abilities of each operator to achieve success in operations. Mission include raids, sabotage and rescue missions in various environments, and the outcome depends on planning and coordinated use of stealth maneuvers along with forceful actions inherent in members of an elite squad.The passage of the game will take you through more than 10 missions in the scenery of World War II, covering locations from the Arctic to the African desert and the European fronts. The environment offers different ways to reach the goal: infiltration, overcoming obstacles, driving vehicles or using cover for stealth movement. The control system helps coordinate the actions of fighters to overcome fortified enemy positions.The main confrontation unfolds against the backdrop of the fight against the Nazi occupation, threatening parts of the world. Objectives range from key tasks needed for advancement to optional assignments requiring tactical ingenuity. You control the fighters as they act in a historical setting to carry out assigned directives.
