COMPOUND is a roguelike shooter for virtual reality, made in a retro style. The main goal is to clear as many rooms as possible to get to the heart of the Corporation and take what belongs to everyone. If the character dies, you will have to start the run again until the player is prepared enough to reach the end.It all starts in the main character's apartment, which has a training room where you can try out different types of weapons present in the game. For example, a shotgun, a railgun, a pistol or a machine gun. It is also possible to take two pistols in your hands, or a machine gun in one, and a shotgun in the other, to increase the damage done. COMPOUND has flexible control settings and three difficulty levels. The run starts with a descent on the elevator to the first level. After killing all the enemies in the room, the elevator doors will open, and it will take the players to the next location. And so on until the end or death. The levels are represented by various offices, warehouses and sewers. To simplify orientation in them, the character always has a map at hand. Each time the locations will be different, because they are randomly generated. The enemies are people in high-tech armor, various drones and robot tanks equipped with machine guns. The classic eight-bit style and original soundtrack will make the passage truly exciting.
