Corpse of Discovery

Corpse of Discovery is a virtual Groundhog Day with repetitive tasks day after day and one true plot goal: the character strives to return to his family, abandoned somewhere in the depths of space, hundreds of light years from the base, where he is forced to stay until he completes the research mission. On unfamiliar planets, it is necessary to explore the landscape and life forms, avoiding dangerous phenomena such as radiation, boiling lava lakes and powerful vortices. Sometimes the astronaut comes across levitating islands, which can only be reached with the help of a jetpack, and aggressive creatures trying to end the hero's existence, as if acrobatic death tricks were not enough for him.The gameplay is presented by the simple joys of a walking simulator, generously seasoned with daily briefings, wandering around the station's compartments, collecting information about the wonders and threats of the surrounding world and installing beacons at special points. There are some problems with the optimization of the project and glitchy textures in all locations. The latter are so poorly developed that instead of the supposed easy gameplay with the contemplation of unique alien landscapes, the player is forced to search for objects with plot triggers that appear with a colossal delay and admire the flickering shadows for a long time and painfully.
