In Cosmos Quickstop, everything starts with the main character talking to his uncle Cosmo, who gives him the ability to manage his intergalactic gas station. While this may seem like an easy task, you'll quickly realize that dodging asteroids, cleaning up glorp, and keeping customers happy quickly becomes tedious. This makes the game quite demanding of judicious management.In normal mode, Cosmo will tell you what to do in each area. It starts off slow at Cosmos Quickstop: filling up gas tanks, setting up spaceships for cleaning, and filling up your vending machine. It all seems pretty mundane until the lights start flashing and the alarm goes off. Then you have to run to the control center to make sure you can avoid hitting an asteroid. In normal mode, the player manages four docking stations and the needs of the space captains on those ships. There are portals that take you from one side of the station to the other for quick travel, but in normal mode, this is not particularly necessary. As a result, you can run from station to station to complete small tasks in between to optimize your time.The music in the game is upbeat and the rhythm seems to match the action. This seems like a game that you will want to spend a lot of time playing if you like beating your own records. The game also offers local co-op, where you can manage a gas station with a friend in split-screen mode.
