Curious Expedition will take the user to the 19th century, where he, in the guise of a famous traveler, will have to go to distant lands. In the expedition simulator, the gamer will go in search of fame, wealth and knowledge. The process starts in London, in the travelers' club. The player will choose a ward from 20 historical figures of those times - here are Nikola Tesla, Marcus Garvey, Charles Darwin, Freya Stark, Marie Curie, Amelia Earhart. Most are opened in the process of receiving achievements. Each character has separate skills, and is accompanied by a group of scientists, soldiers, artists, as well as a pack animal with supplies.Then the hero goes on an adventure around the world, where he will have to spend 6 trips. In each, the protagonist needs to find the Golden Pyramid, for which he receives glory points, which make up the rating of explorers. There are many dangers that await the character here, for example, in the jungle you can get tropical diseases, get mental disorders or become a victim of a curse. Even his comrades can eat the adventurer if their sanity scale drops to 0. As the missions progress, they become more difficult, the map grows, the opponents become more powerful, and threats and dangers begin to lurk around the corners. Curious Expedition has procedural generation, where more complex and unexpected tasks are lined up in front of the player. The user will have to use his trading, diplomatic, logical and combat talents to the fullest.The local biomes located on the map differ not only in weather and nature, but also in the historical period, so the character, having chosen a point, is able to get into the prehistoric jungle and even into the Underworld. The main resources of the protagonist in the expedition simulator are reputation and money for good equipment, provisions, and increased cargo portability. Points of interest are marked with question marks - ancient ruins, labyrinths of caves, settlements, camps, missionary estates, tombs, ritual temples. Here you can bargain, relax, loot treasures, or run into trouble. The user rolls the dice if he does not have the necessary equipment, for example, having decided to go down into the cave, a torch is needed, and if it is not there, then having solved a tactical puzzle, you can get what you want. This includes weapons, tame animals, for example, a dinosaur that can deal with the enemy, and other useful items.
