Cyber Shadow - offers the player the aesthetics of an eight-bit platformer with a side view and dynamic hardcore gameplay. Shadow - the last survivor of an ancient ninja clan - is called by unknown forces on a mission bordering on suicide: he must single-handedly stop the antagonist nicknamed Dr. Progen. This madman is something between a mechanic and a necromancer: he revived his synthetic army of cyborg killers by placing the lost souls of ninja warriors in robots. As the player progresses through Cyber Shadow, he unlocks new abilities, skills, and weapons that will be useful to the character against Progen's minions and bulky bosses at the end of each level. Combining attacks and double jumps, throwing shurikens, and climbing sheer walls, the protagonist overcomes obstacles and bypasses deadly traps, destroying enemies along the way. As a living symbol of retribution, the hero unleashes his wrath on the villains responsible for the death of an entire clan of skilled warriors. The plot is traced in animated cutscenes. Watching what is happening through the eyes of Shadow, the gamer discovers the secret of betrayal and his own resurrection. The atmosphere is supported by a soundtrack written specifically for the project. With all the variety of combat mechanics, the character is not able to squat and bend - sometimes this devilishly complicates the gameplay, forcing players to experience the torments of demonic possession and invent obscene lexical turns of phrase.
