Cyber ​​shadow Is an indie side-view platformer with dynamic gameplay thanks to the nimble protagonist with high movement speed. Graphically, the project is executed in a classic 8-bit style, the on-screen interface occupies only one corner, the collected coins, health and mana are displayed there. In the opposite corner, during the battles with giant bosses, the HP indicator of the antagonists will be located. This one was developed by the efforts of one programmer - Aarne "MekaSkull" Hunziker.

The plot tells about an alternative future, where the universe, in which the protagonist named Shadow lives, was captured by synths and other robotic creatures. The protagonist has to go on a long adventure through many locations in order to find answers about the beginning of this invasion, as well as to try to find a way to stop the enemies and free the worlds. While exploring the territory, the Shadow stumbles upon a large number of secrets in ancient ruins, there are various resources necessary for pumping.

As you progress through the single-player campaign, the gamer unlocks more and more abilities of a virtual protégé who belongs to the ancient ninja clan, which is why he owns ninjutsu. By correctly combining the available skills, jumps, dashes, and so on, the player achieves an advantage over artificial intelligence, controlling robots, synthetic creatures and other enemies.
