Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a game in the genre of a visual novel painted in an anime with an elements of a quest. The player will have to investigate, look for facts and find contradictions between them. The emphasis was placed on a quick gameplay in the plot divided by the chapters, each of which includes two options for passing. The normal option with the study is an abnormal, where the main story with the opportunity to judge guilty or suspects is being promoted.Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc takes place in an elite school where only the most talented students can get in. Students who have been trained in special skills are selected to Hope's Peak Academy. But ordinary people have a chance to get in through a lottery once a year. One of these is the game's protagonist, Makoto Naegi. The player's character does not have special abilities, but is strong in deductive analysis and takes the position of the main detective, helping to solve complex cases in the school court.The gameplay is divided into two main modes. In the first, the school grounds are explored from a first-person perspective, opening up new locations of the premises. Various objects of the environment and communication with other students are available for interaction. By obtaining information or medals that can be exchanged at a local store, the player gets to know the personalities that fill the world, chatting on various disturbing topics. The second mode will be activated at the crime scene if a dead body is found. Then the search for evidence and testimony from other characters will begin, which will help to understand the case and make the right verdict during the trial.
