Dark SASI is our answer to the foreign Dark Souls with its giant oafs and an incomprehensible plot. Dark SASI is a different matter: truly creepy bosses (as many as two), and a plot with a deep philosophical meaning, reminiscent of a secondary mix from a popular anime, and harsh survival conditions. It is difficult to give the game an unambiguous assessment, since potential and raw moments, and obvious shortcomings are equally felt. So, the main character is a curious mortal, chosen by mysterious higher beings to test courage and will. The protagonist finds a book with mystical symbols on the street, which turns out to be a portal to another dimension. In the reception area, he is met by the secretary of souls, explaining that the young man has fallen into a coma, and will be able to return to the familiar world only by fighting the local titans.Additional pain is caused by autosaves tied to the teleport. During the entire game, there will be only two points where you can resurrect after an inglorious death. Hoping for bonuses in the form of heals and loot will inevitably lead the player to disappointment, and the character to fatal consequences. The trick and difficulty of the gameplay is that the protagonist's health is restored slowly, and death resets the progress to the last save point. The rich soundtrack conveys the atmosphere of despondency and nightmarish hopelessness well. A full walkthrough takes about two hours, leaving a peculiar aftertaste.
