The disease spreads through a bite. Bloodsuckers are carriers, you should not approach them. The situation in Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court is complicated by the fact that the infected character becomes dangerous. Loss of control over him is fraught with the spread of the disease. Signs appear immediately - passivity, decreased resistance to bleeding. After drinking blood, the fighter's characteristics temporarily increase. Gradually, passivity develops into thirst. If you give blood to drink, madness is guaranteed: the character receives a significant increase in damage and speed. A new portion of blood summarizes the positive effects of the previous reception.Crimson thirst is an effective tool. It must be used wisely, since the hero under the effect is able to quickly defeat a powerful enemy. But after 10-15 rounds of bloody battles, the character becomes passive again. This must be taken into account when developing tactics for war with enemy squads of the wicked.
