The action of Darklands takes place in Ancient Greece, where the gamer has a long and difficult path to fame and greatness. The game world has many different locations, overflowing with monsters. In the battle with them, not only weapons and equipment will help, but also traps. Killing each monster gives the hero experience, due to which his combat characteristics grow. The gameplay begins with a short tutorial, after which the gamer is invited to join the survival mode. In this mode, you need to not just try not to die, moving headlong around the location, but complete special quests, receiving, in addition to experience, crystals. They are intended for buying the hero's equipment and resurrection after death. During the game, you will also encounter power-ups that help you find crystals. Staying alive is helped by the ability to pause at any time.In Darklands, it is not necessary to fight enemies face to face, although traps are a great help in this. The player can dodge attacks, avoiding damage, and run further along the location. But such tactics will not help in the battle with bosses, which can only be passed by fighting them. As soon as the boss is defeated, the gamer is transferred to a new level.
