Dead Season is a turn-based tactical RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. In this title, users control a small group of four survivors trying to make their way through various environments, from abandoned cities to farms. The game places an emphasis on strategic decision-making, as every action, from combat to movement, can determine whether the group survives or falls prey to the undead. The campaign is played from a top-down perspective, offering a wide field for analyzing the environment in which players cope with both zombie and human threats. In this hostile world, resources are scarce, especially ammunition, forcing users to carefully consider when to engage in combat and when to avoid enemies. The gameplay presents a constant threat of noise that attracts more enemies, requiring stealth and tactical planning to survive. Survivors who are not professional fighters must rely on homemade weapons and found items to protect themselves. There is also a progression system that allows you to upgrade your characters and acquire better equipment as you complete tasks. There are specific objectives to complete across 16 different missions, each of which becomes increasingly difficult. These objectives range from finding resources to finding safe passage through dangerous areas. Combat, when unavoidable, takes place in a turn-based format, where cooperation between characters is crucial.
