Deadlock: Planetary Conquest is a classic turn-based strategy in which you have to compete for a new planet with settlements of 6 opposing extraterrestrial species. The player needs to think a lot about their units, population, army and other things. Each time, artificial intelligence generates new maps. The computer is smart enough, so you will have to make reasonable, balanced decisions. The graphics look old compared to other games in this genre, but this does not interfere with the gameplay. The races are appealing, from the usual human berserkers to the insectoid Cheechts. In addition to spending time alone, you can enjoy local co-op with up to six comrades. Each game is a world map with several city zones, where the main character starts with one command center and can expand to others, while the AI does the same. In addition, in Deadlock: Planetary Conquest you can choose from several alien nations, along with humans, and each of them has unique skills or units that can be used.In each city, you can build buildings and troops, the number of buildings per turn is unlimited, but they require resources. Their assembly takes at least one turn, and more advanced supplies take several. You can research technologies to speed up resource collection, production and deployment of new weapons and vehicles. Create several ground troops, ranging from captains who increase morale, infantrymen and all sorts of tank-like vehicles, ending with aircraft and nuclear warheads. Games can be long, but you can save at any time and come back later.
