Deardrops is a visual novel dedicated to rock music and musical groups. The main character of this story, Shoichi Suganuma, has been playing the violin since childhood, in which he seriously succeeded and was accepted into a professional orchestra in Germany. There, an incident occurs that forces him to quit his career as a violinist, and returning home would be too much of a humiliation for him. A friend of Kanade, whose father owns a live music club, comes to the rescue - Shoichi settled there and masters playing the guitar in order to become a rock musician and create his own band.The gameplay of Deardrops is based on studying the story through the exchange of lines between the characters, presented in text against the background and character sprites. In some places, the plot can go in a different direction - at such points, the player is given a choice of how to respond or how to act.
