Deltarune is a role-playing action game, the action of which is indirectly connected with the universe of its predecessor - Undertale. The plot centers on a boy named Chris. He lives in a world in which people and monsters coexist. One day, he and his aggressive monster classmate Susie are sent to the school storage room for chalk. From there, the heroes end up in another dimension - the Dark World. They meet Prince Raziel there, who tells them that his kingdom has been captured by a usurper, and to save it, they need to close the fountains of darkness. Now the brave trio will have to fulfill the prophecy.In Deltarune, players explore various locations, interacting with the environment and NPCs, solving puzzles and fighting in origami. A distinctive feature is the ability to choose - to kill opponents, or try to find a way to make friends or spare them. Each opponent has individual characteristics, identifying which can successfully decide the outcome of the fight. In turn-based battles, you can control the entire squad of 3 characters, choosing during the turn who will perform this or that action. The prince drives the functions of a magician in battles - he heals allies and weakens monsters. Susie prefers exclusively deadly attacks, which adds difficulty in passing without deaths. Depending on the chosen style of play, different endings are assumed. Adventures are divided into episodes, each of which tells about adventures in a specific parallel world.
