Destrega is a fighting game that includes elements of strategy and magical combat. The mechanics include close and long-range combat with an emphasis on movement and attack options. You can freely move around the environment, using jumps, dashes and blocks to navigate and defend against opponents. The combat system uses the principle of "stone-paper-scissors", in which different attacks have their own strengths and weaknesses. In Destrega, close-range combat includes three main attacks. Each of the attacks counters the other, requiring strategic thinking about your next move. For example, fast is effective against slow and powerful, and a maneuver to the side allows you to dodge an accelerated attack. Long-range combat uses magic attacks that are activated when the user steps back, changing the charge bar from red to blue. There are three main types of magic attacks: Bidu, Est, and Foh. Bidu is fast but weak, Est is powerful but slow, and Foh is a multiple explosion with medium damage. Like close-range combat, these magic attacks have a counter system. You will need to manage the charge bar, which indicates the level of magic attack that can be used, from red (no magic) to blue (the highest level of magic). Magic attacks in Destrega can be combined to create more powerful effects. Combinations are divided into tiers, with each higher tier requiring a more complex sequence of inputs.
