Devastation is a walk-through shooter with a fair-haired guy named Flynn in the role of the savior of the universe. The action takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, as if it came out from under the conveyor belt of science fiction scenarios. The world is ruled by the villainous Gratius corporation, and a handful of rebels fight for the rights of citizens dumbfounded by information hunger. The main character belongs to one of these groups. The plot seems cardboard, as do the characters, who interact with each other sparingly, and therefore arouse superficial interest in the vendetta on the screen. In fairness, it is worth noting the pleasant graphic component of Devastation: the streets devastated by the civil war are well detailed, and the locations are individualized even more than the non-player characters, distinguished by modest AI. Moments when mobs slow down happen both with friendly soldiers and with enemies. The developers did not spare their imagination in creating an arsenal of weapons. The restless Flynn has at his disposal a murder weapon for every taste - from fists protected by gloves and torture instruments like an electric nail gun, to a minigun capable of destroying half a city in a matter of moments. And to catch enemies by surprise, a cybernetic rat will help, penetrating into enemy territory with a TNT surprise.
