Dicey Dungeons lets you take control of a dice-shaped game cube that, competing with other characters, is trying to escape from a dungeon consisting of six levels. During the journey, you need to fight opponents, open treasure chests, make purchases in stores and, most importantly, collect your own deck of cards. Dungeons are presented in the form of platforms with fields on which various shrines, enemy heroes, passages, items (for example, health-restoring apples) are located. As already mentioned, an important part of the game is creating a deck, which can consist of six cards (the same number of slots are available, but some cards take up two of them). Controlled cards offer various effects, buffs and debuffs, but their effectiveness depends on the roll of the dice, that is, on luck. The conditions for obtaining the desired effect also vary. Sometimes it is enough to have as many “points” as possible, sometimes, for example, this number should be even or odd.Choosing characters is not just a matter of aesthetics. The game has six options to choose from, each with different skills. For example, a thief can copy an opponent's card, and an inventor can sacrifice a personal card at the end of a turn to gain a new ability at the beginning of the next round. In addition, each protagonist has additional missions and challenges that require familiarization with the local mechanics. Excellent visualization and excellent sound allow you to fully immerse yourself in the fun gameplay.
