Dinosaur Forest is a controversial indie project with monotonous third-person gameplay. The plot of the game is purely nominal: a certain prince named Kronos gets high, getting into the jungle on an unknown planet inhabited by prehistoric lizards. Both predators and herbivores - all are eager if not to devour, then trample the hapless protagonist. Luckily, he has a basic set of weapons and legs to save his own skin, making his way through the tropical jungle.Dinosaurs roll in waves, and the gameplay is more reminiscent of a gladiatorial arena than an adequate shooter stylized as a hunt for triceratops and velociraptors. Primitive AI sets the monsters a trajectory, and they break straight without any tactics, in a uniform manner of behavior for everyone. Therefore, Dinosaur Forest is just a shooting gallery in three-dimensional, crookedly drawn scenery. Textures, animal animations and environment physics are very buggy. After two steps, the player falls through the ground, not having shot another trophy. On the plus side, we can highlight the multiplayer mode, if someone suddenly decides to invite their friends to this empty, plotless world, as well as an ocean of game achievements. Achievements are awarded for every sneeze: for example, for the first kill, a change in time of day or weather conditions, a headshot or even a punch to a fanged muzzle. In fact, the entire gameplay is based on achievements and comic rewards for them, such as a super jump and invulnerability.
