Discrepant is a quest puzzle about the disturbing adventures of Sebastian, an ordinary unremarkable man without any superpowers, who once found himself in a nightmare: distant explosions are heard in the street, dying people are scratching with their last strength right under the door - something unimaginably terrible is happening And the character would like to hear words of support from his wife Sue, but she is also confused and is unlikely to be able to help. To at least partially clarify the situation, you will have to leave the house into the twilight of a dying city and go through a path full of deadly dangers encountered at every corner.The gameplay of Discrepant is presented in two versions: with a first-person and third-person view. The uncomfortable, oppressive atmosphere is inspired by the cult films “Donnie Darko”, “The Thirteenth Floor” and “Dark City”. The game intrigues with a dark idea, but there are some complaints about the implementation: for example, the optimization is lame, sometimes quest markers do not work, and the tutorial is too long and oversaturated with educational information. The protagonist has the ability to defend himself, use a flashlight or lighter and drive a vehicle. In some locations, you will have to disarm traps, which will require considerable skill. And the priority task here is to understand what is behind the deformation of the familiar world?
