Double Dragon Trilogy contains 3 games about the adventures of Billy and Jimmy Lee. All the projects presented here are classic representatives of the beat 'em up genre. The collection includes only titles that were originally released on arcade machines. There are no popular 8-bit and 16-bit ports, nor is there a crossover between the brothers and the fighting toads.Double Dragon Trilogy includes the original DD, the sequel The Revenge and the sequel The Rosetta Stone. The graphics were slightly redrawn everywhere, there were more sprites. However, it is possible to return everything to how it was then. In the first part, the Black Warriors gang steals Marian. Billy goes to save his girlfriend, he is helped by a relative. In the two, the same group kills this young woman, and the martial artists begin to take revenge. The action of both parts starts on the streets of New York after a nuclear war. The three threw the Lee brothers to Japan, China, Egypt and other countries. There they travel the world in search of powerful artifacts. Each game contains 2 modes (arcade and story) and 3 difficulty levels (easy, original and expert). In addition to local co-op, these products acquired support for network multiplayer. The gameplay is everywhere fights inspired by old action movies about martial arts. Heroes beat opponents at locations using various techniques, and at the end of the stages they fight bosses. You can knock weapons, like knives and clubs, out of your opponents' hands, then pick them up and use them against them.
