Downfall: A Horror Adventure Game tells the story of a married couple, where the wife is already starting to lose herself. Ivy is clearly not okay and Joe, realizing the possible consequences, decides to spend a spontaneous vacation for them, arriving at the hotel. But as soon as the spouses enter the room, a conflict begins between them. Nevertheless, everything ends quickly, and Joe falls asleep. But after waking up, the man discovers that his wife is missing. After talking to the concierge, the hero finds out that Ivy is in the room of a certain Sophie. She actually kidnapped the girl, and now the character needs to get her out of there at any cost. The specific visual style of the Downfall project. The horror-style story resembles a graphic novel, because each scene is literally drawn in pencil. At the same time, when the characters communicate or perform any actions, their bodies move, and you can clearly understand what is happening now. If we talk specifically about the gameplay, then everything here is tailored to the quest system. Joe moves around the locations (in this case, around different rooms in the hotel), solving puzzles and tasks that the plot sets before him. Often, performing some actions requires the use of items from the inventory. Therefore, you should carefully study the locations, because there may be potentially valuable things like keys to rooms, tools or something similar. Dialogues between the characters are also important, because some conversations literally present plot twists, which subsequently affect the ending.
