Driver game takes place in constant chase mode. In essence, it is a prototype of GTA in driving mode. The essence lies in completing the assigned missions, the difficulty of each of which increases as you progress. The hardest task awaits at the end and involves arranging the escape of the president in his own limousine.In total, there are 5 game styles available in Driver:

• chase - pursuing a car along a certain route;
• escape - running away from the police, achieving a speed record;
• tailcutter - you need to knock down cones, for each of which you get a couple of seconds of breakaway;
• survival - you need to break away from the police with a wanted level of 80-100%, and you will have to drive like this for as long as possible;
• destruction - you will need to inflict maximum damage to cars.

The main character, John Tanner, first steals a car, a 1967 Corvette, when the police fall on his tail. After that, the hero has to constantly run away from persecution, hire cars, earn points and explore the city, opening new locations and mission. In the process, a linear plot develops, from which it is impossible to deviate. In total, several cities are available: Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, and during the game an additional location will open - Newcastle upon Tyne. Everywhere you will have to drive high-speed cars, but keep in mind that for each touch to someone else's car - the number of points increases, so you need to drive extremely carefully.
