In Dustforce DX, the main character, armed with a broom and brush, fights with scattered leaves and garbage that are carelessly scattered around the location. The janitor has an athletic build, can perform acrobatic tricks and often resorts to parkour to climb an inaccessible hill, slide along a wall or fight a boss. A total of 75 locations are available, which can feel like an easy walk and enjoyment of the opening view, to real hardcore and tension in every moment of the sortie. There are also more than 100 maps created by the players themselves. The art style is light and warm, the pastel colors are pleasing to the eye, and the charismatic characters are drawn to the smallest detail. The entire walkthrough is divided into five worlds, each with its own character, main theme and aesthetics. The protagonist fights in an autumn forest, a dusty city, a laboratory with spilled reagents, etc.. The musical accompaniment also changes, which can be either meditative or mystical, challenging. Despite the cartoonish, slow and smooth movements, the game requires strict adherence to the sequence of actions, where a step to the left and right equals defeat. Each level of Dustforce DX has two goals: complete cleaning of the area from pollution and grace - achieved by running without a single fall, with all combos carried out. For each category, its own score is awarded, where the highest is S, and the minimum is C. The better the score, the more keys will become available. They are used to unlock new locations, marked by difficulty from bronze to gold, so even without seeing the graphic style, you can roughly understand what awaits beyond the threshold of the unknown.
