Dyscourse takes the user to a world where each of his decisions has separate consequences. In the survival simulator, it is important to make the right choices, acting as Rita, a barista who was trapped after a plane crash on an island with a team of adventurers. Now the heroine needs to properly manage her charges so that they survive and do not become cannibals. The game also has an additional mode called Indy Island, where a similar scenario is implemented, but the user tries on the role of Emily Park - a computer game developer who flies to a conference and crashes with other developers, for example, Edmund McMillen, Tim Schafer, Robin Hanicky. The group must have time to escape from the island in 12 hours to make it to an important conference. The group consists of:
- Rita - a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, who, due to a series of failures, began to work as a barista, the protagonist.
- Steve - a guy with a pessimistic outlook on life.
- Teddy - a conspiracy theorist.
- Garrett - an avid gamer who thinks in the appropriate format.
- George - a family man who gets stuck on the island with his wife.
- Jolene is George's wife. The woman believes that she and her husband have family problems.
The events start on a desert island, where the heroes are the only ones who managed to escape after a plane crash. Rita takes control of the team, making decisions about the further actions of all its members, which affect the company as a whole, and trigger a chain of events that can lead to salvation or death. The survival simulator offers a variety of alternative endings based on the player's actions. It also implements the Memory Marker system, thanks to which characters are able to re-visit individual points on the map. After the first playthrough, the user opens the Rewind Day function, using which you can start over.
