Earth defense force 5 - the fifth episode of a series of epic arcade third-person shooters.

Events take place in 2022, when the world is suddenly attacked by unknown intelligent aliens - primers. The main goal of the user is to fight off hordes of dangerous enemies and save humanity from extinction. At the beginning of the journey, the gamer must choose a character class, which can be changed before choosing a new mission:

• "Ranger" - a universal infantryman, can summon auxiliary equipment;
• "Wing Diver" - airborne paratrooper, flies with a jetpack;
• "Air Raider" - support warrior, calls for healing generators;
• "Fencer" - melee tank in a power suit.

In the process of passing the hero, you can pump it, improving his statistics and skill indicators. After the completion of the story campaign, additional difficulty levels "Hardest" and "Inferno" become available to the user.

The gameplay mechanics consists of aimed shooting at opponents, defending positions and moving through locations. The gamer has more than 1000 types of weapons available (plasma blasters, rifles, snipers, rocket launchers, kinetic guns, grenade launchers, swords) and equipment (exoskeletons, turrets, vehicles, plasma shields).

Earth Defense Force 5 features a single player campaign with 110 missions, a split-screen two-player mode, and a 4-player co-op game. Realistic battles and modern graphics enhance the shooter atmosphere.
