Despite the victory, Earth was left in ruins, with the population reduced to 10%. Survivors were on the brink of collapse, facing a difficult road to recovery. By 2027, the remnants of civilization were still struggling with the aftermath, and as they began to rebuild, a new wave of alien threats emerged, plunging the world into chaos.As an EDF soldier in EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6, gamers must navigate this devastated world, now confronted with an invader whose identity and intentions are finally revealed. This revelation brings a new sense of despair, challenging and overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds. The title emphasizes courage and strategic thinking, requiring users to use both to lead humanity to a brighter future. This title offers a vast array of missions and weapons, marking the largest volume in the series' history. Each mission supports online co-op, allowing up to four users to join forces and fight the alien threat together. There are four different soldier classes to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and roles, allowing for different tactical approaches and co-op strategies.
