EARTHLOCK is a real gift for fans of Japanese-style RPGs, because it has absorbed the best features of games of this genre. It has everything: an intricate and interesting plot, pumping up heroes, a series of endless battles and complex puzzles. Huge swords, funny characters and big eyes are also present. Events will take place on the distant planet Umbra, which has stopped rotating around its axis. Because of this incident, the sun constantly shines on the inhabited part of the fictional world. The protagonist, together with a group of his friends, is trying to find out the causes of the cataclysm and eliminate them. The plot of EARTHLOCK is linear, but this type of narration will not scare away players. On the contrary, it will involve them even more in the gameplay, as the surrounding world is revealed completely and in all its beauty. The game can be divided into two parts. This is a global map and separate locations on it that can be explored. Both parts are filled with enemies and monsters, and random battles in the open world can be avoided or, on the contrary, you can collect as many monsters as possible and fight them. The more enemies were killed in one battle, the more experience the party members will receive together with the main character.Items that fall from monsters are very diverse. Most of them are simply sold in shops encountered during the journey, but some are required to create things. Pumping up the team with each level gives a passive set of basic characteristics and additional skill points, one per level. Each squad member has a skill table, divided into several sections. The player himself will choose what is more important for him to get now: a passive perk, an active super blow or an improvement in attack parameters.
