Ecco: The Tides of Time is already the second part of the popular series, which continues the story of a dolphin named Ecco. Here, the main character will again encounter Queen Vortex, who miraculously survived in the previous part. She again found herself on Earth and is pursuing the same goal of creating a nest. The dolphin himself suddenly loses strength, but even after this he does not intend to give up. On the contrary, he goes on a journey through time to correct this misunderstanding and become stronger before the decisive battle.A distinctive feature of Ecco the Dolphin 2 is its high level of difficulty. This is characterized by high dynamics, which is maintained at each level, as well as regular changes in conditions at locations. For example, one of the segments involves high-speed swimming underwater, during which the dolphin needs to get through rings to record progress. At the same time, it is necessary to dodge long sticks sticking out of the bottom. There is also another type of task that involves following other dolphins, as well as simply moving along the seabed in order to get to a specified point in space. In such levels, you can use special techniques such as jerks and releasing echo waves. Compared to the previous part, so-called metaspheres have appeared here. These are special particles that allow the main character to transform into other animals (seagull, jellyfish, shark and others). These are temporary effects and they are needed exclusively to solve intermediate tasks.
