In EchoBlade, the user will have to explore mysterious dungeons that are shrouded in impenetrable darkness. The player is locked in a tangled labyrinth of a huge tower and he must find a way out of this situation at all costs, using the sounds of the environment, which will act as an effective guide. Every clank of armor, the noise of footsteps, rustle in the dark or swing of a steel sword will help to move further along the dark corridors of the stronghold. The EchoBlade user will have to walk very carefully through the locations so as not to step on hidden buttons that activate a variety of deadly traps that are scattered throughout the area. The main character will fight the crusaders who will meet on his way with his sharpened blade or accurate crossbow. The player should remember that the enemy is experienced and knows where it is best to wait for the protagonist in order to inflict maximum damage.The authors of the project built all the levels using unique mechanics that gradually open up during the gameplay: patrolling jailers, searching for hidden levers and switches, recognizing secret rooms, as well as solving tricky puzzles that are endowed with elements of a classic platformer. The central character will have to pay a high price for his freedom, but it is worth it and will definitely pay off in the future.
