In Elden: Path of the Forgotten, the main character has to save her own mother from old nightmares. The story is not told from her perspective, and not even from a third person. The player learns about everything from a picture book. The inscriptions there are in an unknown language, so it is impossible to read. When creating Elden: Path of the Forgotten, the illustrators were inspired by the works of Lovecraft. The invented world looks intriguing and gloomy at the same time. Different mechanics and options are offered for the passage. All decisions must be made independently, creating your own storyline.Battles are inevitable along the way. The fantasy world is fraught with many dangers. Monsters, all sorts of creatures and Evil itself await the girl. The battles are not large-scale. No variety in actions. The emphasis is on reactions. Before striking, you need to calculate and assess the enemy, take a convenient position and wait for the right moment or use a combined attack. For those who are not strong in strategy, the art of parrying will be an alternative. Exploring the territory, you can find weapons, which can then be improved. It is also possible to pump up the character itself and gain new skills, which will certainly come in handy in the future. The path is not close, so you should prepare yourself for a difficult but exciting journey.
