Mankind is in an alternate future inhabited by a hero named Chrono. The protagonist is able to command the passage of time by using this skill in battle. The game is made in the genre of role-playing third-person shooter, where you have to move around half-corridor locations and carry out tasks to clear the area of enemies.

The storyline in Elementite tells the tale of a mysterious mineral that scientists have recently discovered. Mysterious component strengthens human body, making it more protected from the dangers of the outside world and reducing the damage received. Mineral has strengthened many people, making them ideal warriors and guards that have come to serve the corporation. The poor have been left behind by innovative technology and fallen under the tyrannical power of the upper classes who run the companies.

The protagonist acts as a talented soldier that used to serve on the Global Council. In the past, he fought against evil corporations with a girl named Brigit, until he found himself a prisoner of the "Corporation" after the fall of the "Council. He was given to do experiments in the laboratory, which subsequently affected the strengths and skills of the protagonist. Chrono is able to switch between two modes: melee and ranged combat, using firearms.
