Elements of War is a project presented by a single military campaign and a massively multiplayer online game. However, it is worth mentioning right away that in mmo mode, the gamer is unlikely to be able to find not only worthy opponents, but even to recruit enough allies for the war with artificial intelligence - there are not enough players on the server. Network gameplay is divided into strategic and tactical components: in the first case, the player operates controlled sectors, moving his troops into the area captured by the enemy; in the second, he captures control points in the classic RTS format, using tactical combat units, among which, in addition to infantry, tanks and aircraft, there is a unique weapon - weather elementals.The action of the story campaign begins in 2022 against the backdrop of a global technological catastrophe caused by American scientists who were developing secret weapons capable of specifically influencing changes in weather conditions. The territory of the United States suffered the most, and the capital of America was buried under its own rubble after a hurricane passed through Washington. As a result, the country, left without top leadership, was mired in civil strife. The most terrible threat to the entire world has become a persistent hypercyclone growing in the northern United States, and like a giant funnel, it absorbs air masses. To eliminate the anomaly, an alliance of military units from different countries must break through to the epicenter of the disaster at any cost, calling on all the technologies existing in the world to help.
