Empires: Dawn of the Modern World is a real-time strategy game that spans five eras of human history, where one of eight civilizations can follow their path, each with their own cultural characteristics and legacies. What kind of development of the state will be, bloody or diplomatic, whether the advantage will be given to the intellectual education of the population or everything will result in an army and barracks - only the gamer can decide. You can play both in single-player mode and in a cooperative mode for up to 8 students in two modes: Action - fast and dynamic and Builder - slower, based on defense.Game factions, developing from the Middle Ages to the Imperial Ages in Empires: DMW:
- China - has a very diverse population, they were the first to invent many innovations, from compasses and paper to gunpowder and crossbows.
- England – has many developed industries, military affairs and a stable economy. During the assault and attacks, they use intelligence and espionage to better understand their opponents and build successful tactics.
- France – originates from the Frankish predecessors, they are characterized by imperial habits, most of the funds are invested in weapons and the conquest of nearby territories.
- Korea – being under the constant yoke of China and Japan, formed the great Joseon dynasty, leading a confrontation with enemies both on land and in the sea.
Players will have to take on the role of a commander, command their units, rebuild and develop cities, erecting new buildings and concluding alliances. To win in battle, it is necessary to take into account the location of the troops, give orders correctly, understanding who is better to leave in the rear, and who to send into the very hell. Victory is awarded when the last soldier is defeated or captured. There are four types of missions: reconnaissance, security, defensive actions and attack.
