Empires: Dawn of the Modern World - a real-time strategy game where you need to collect resources, build a base, develop troops and conquer neighboring empires. The gameplay is based on history, retelling many important world events, from the Middle Ages to World War II.
A total of 9 civilizations are represented: England, Franks, Korea and China represent the medieval period, and the USA, Russia, Germany, France and Great Britain are available during the First and Second World Wars. Japan appears in the conflict, but only as an adversary. You can't play as the Japanese.
The gameplay of Empires: Dawn of the Modern World invites you to develop your empire by collecting resources and training units in military science. The goal of each mission is to crush the enemy army. The task is considered completed when the enemy army is destroyed or surrenders. The units are represented by ground, sea and air forces. Each individual species depends on the era. resources are wood, gold and stone.
There is a multiplayer mode that allows you to fight up to eight people. The single player campaign features three scenarios: Heart of a Lion (English episode during the Middle Ages), Sea Dragon (Korea during the Age of Gunpowder) and Blood and Guts (USA during the World Wars). All scenarios have several difficulty levels.
