Escape From Violet Institute is a unique experiment in combining 2D and horror in one game. The main character, waking up, finds himself in a mysterious research complex - and it seems that this complex was destroyed as a result of some kind of disaster. In order to survive, you will have to leave the institute, which is not so easy to do, since the protagonist is drawn in and teleported to different nightmarish dimensions that lie beyond the mind. Many creatures from other worlds haunt the character, and in addition, he will have to face his own past and learn the whole terrifying truth about himself.The gameplay of Escape From Violet Institute is diverse and divided into two parts. One part looks like a familiar 2D platformer, where the player, controlling a two-dimensional character, will travel along the corridors, use moving platforms and find a way forward. However, as you progress, the game will turn into a 3D shooter with a first-person view. The dark corridors of the destroyed complex can be seen from different sides, immersing yourself in a frightening atmosphere. Realism also significantly complicates the game - the player has only one life, and death will be final. The decisions made by the user will affect the gameplay - the project is non-linear and has several forks that will lead to different endings.
