The events of Escape Goat take place in the Dungeon of Angus, where all witches and wizards are imprisoned. The main character is also guilty of using witchcraft and is thrown to the bottom of the deadly prison. However, he is not even a man, but a purple goat. A magic mouse will help him escape, and along the way, an unusual couple saves magical sleeping sheep. Those, by the way, will become the main means of presenting the plot - after waking up, they often say a couple of vague phrases related to the history of what is happening. However, without goat agility and jumping ability, the protagonist of Escape Goat will not be able to get out of the dungeon. Still, the main genre of the game is a platformer. The passage is divided into 50 main levels in 10 different locations, and there are also several additional ones, outside the plot race. Each of them is an acrobatic test, periodically mixed with puzzles. Sometimes a level will require simply avoiding dangers, such as fire arson and circular saws on the way to the exit. In other rooms, you will have to rack your brains with many more fingers in an attempt to understand the mechanics of the passage. In addition, many stages in the game are non-linear. However, we are not talking about forks, but rather about the ability to get to the exit in a way that your ingenuity and skill will allow. Although some rooms have only one correct path to run. Also, on the way to freedom, the hero will acquire new witchcraft abilities in addition to the existing double jump. For example, the ability to change places with a mouse partner.
