Europa Universalis 4 takes place on an interactive map of the Earth, where territories are divided between provinces controlled by different nations. All provinces make their own contribution to the development of the state or, on the contrary, worsen its situation. The task of the provinces is to provide funds, mercenaries and employees, sailors and conduct research. The player will take control of his own state, army, workers and secondary territories. You have to watch every aspect: army, diplomacy and economy. A balance between the key factors of the state is necessary. With the help of prestige points, stability, gold, recruits, sailors and other resources, the state is improved. It is possible to conquer the whole world with the help of great military power, recruit allies and conquer lands with them.An important aspect during the passage is diplomacy. The ability to negotiate correctly will provide an opportunity to create alliances, not to start wars out of nowhere and improve relations between rulers. Spies carry out forays into the territories of other states, where they will obtain information about the intentions of senior figures. Battles take place on land and at sea. Units have their own characteristics, morale and numbers. They are led into battle by leaders who set the fighting spirit. Religions are present: Christianity, Islam, dharma, Eastern, paganism and Judaism. Upgrading administrative technologies improves work intensity and adds new buildings. Diplomatic technologies will help improve the navy, trade and the army as a whole. Military upgrades unlock access to new types of units, pump up combat characteristics and discipline.
