Eventide 2: The Sorcerers Mirror invites you to return to the adventures of the already familiar heroine Mary. She is still a botany student. And this time there is a feeling that the protagonist is simply attracting trouble to herself. One day, while rock climbing with her niece, Mary meets two mysterious men, their appearance and behavior make it clear that this will not lead to anything good. The villains kidnap the niece and cut the main character's climbing rope. Falling, Mary still manages to somehow miraculously grab onto the ledge, which saves her life.In the second part of the series, namely in Eventide 2: The Sorcerers Mirror, the story will tell about the confrontation of good characters with the intrigues of the bad ones. A distinctive feature is the emerging moral choice. At certain moments, the gamer will have to decide how to behave in a given situation. For example, at the beginning of the game you need to get a piece of tenderloin from the local butcher. This can be done either by exchanging it for something that belongs to the character, or by flirting, in the hope of getting the desired piece of meat.The game also has an inventory in which the protagonist stores all the items found during the game. It is also possible to combine objects to obtain the necessary item. The process of searching for items needed at a certain moment is made in the form of a magnifying glass present on the screen. When hovering over the desired place, the player receives a response indicating that the desired item is located nearby.
