In this universe, the Tower is a gathering place for souls who have not found peace. Their further journey after getting there depends only on the souls themselves. The only way to salvation is to ascend to the top. The main character does not remember what happened to him, but he knows that he was unable to achieve anything great in his life. In the Tower, the character meets a monster that somewhat resembles a wolf. It attacks the protagonist, as a result of which the latter has to fight it.
