Ex-Zodiac allows you to control a fighter in a rather colorful world, stylized as a game design from the 90s of the last century. The main character, Q, is a fighter pilot fighting to liberate the worlds of the distant Sanzaru star system, captured by an intergalactic terrorist organization, widely known as the Zodiac. There are 12 levels in Ex-Zodiac and several additional secret areas and side branches. In each of them, Q has to fight hordes of enemies with combat vehicles, tanks, helicopters, the same fighters and even air defense systems and multiple launch rockets! You need to dodge their attacks, trying to send as many enemy vehicles to the other world as possible. At the end of each level, Q will face a battle with powerful bosses, for example, a huge mechanical scorpion that destroys everything around it, able to shoot its claws far ahead of itself. The physics of movement in this project is implemented in a very interesting way. The locations are varied: from fields with windmills to mountain landscapes and urban development with its skyscrapers. This can only be done without being shot down. You should especially be wary of enemy air defense systems, they cause the greatest damage to the aircraft. If Q is shot down, then you have to go through everything from the very beginning. At the very end, after successful completion, the player sees statistics of the completed level in the form of the number of enemies killed at the level from among the enemy combat units that exist on it. Ideally, you need to strive to ensure that the difference between these two numbers is minimal.
