EXAELLA

EXAELLA is a three-dimensional side-scroller, made using dark, cold tones, and with a camera located on the side of the events shown on the personal computer monitor screen. Video inserts and cut scenes, in turn, are made from a third-person view. On the way to the end of the storyline, the gamer will encounter various puzzles that require attentiveness, intelligence, reaction and ingenuity to successfully overcome difficulties. The developers of the project are two indie programmers making their debut in the gaming industry with this product. The plot will tell an alternative vision of the events of the animated film of the same name. The only location where the main character will move is a scientific center for the study of artificial sleep called Xonas. Within the walls of this institution, experiments are carried out on volunteers in hibernation. The goal of the experiments is an attempt to save the world from overpopulation and restore the ecosystem by sending a huge part of humanity into a long sleep. The gamer gets the role of the caretaker of the complex, where all living beings are in cryosleep, and the only one with whom the main character interacts is the artificial intelligence of Xonas.
