Eye of the Kraken features a story about an ancient artifact that will play a major role. The ship departs and sets course for the island of Hyades in order to deliver a diplomatic mission there. Abdullah, just before sailing, receives a letter from his friend named Titian. It states that an ancient relic, the Kraken's Eye figurine, has been stolen. It is of great importance to an ancient active cult and is of great value. The thief is on board the Glutomax. The essence of the plot is to find both the criminal and the stolen artifact. The game is made in the style of a classic quest.The actions in the Kraken's Eye are limited in time. The game begins on Monday morning and should end on Friday evening. Therefore, the search and investigation must be carried out as quickly as possible. To complete the mission, first of all, you need to search the interior of the ship - the cabins of passengers and crew members, service and technical rooms. A circle of suspects is immediately determined. By the way, the plot has a humorous component - many comical situations arise during the walkthrough. The controls are performed using the mouse. The gameplay involves various possibilities for exploring objects. They can be found, picked up, examined and used. In parallel, you need to communicate with passengers and the crew. Abdullah has a notebook where he writes down the valuable information he receives. The environment is stylized as the 1920-1930s. For example, the player is asked to choose the musical accompaniment of that era.
