Other factions are not available for joining and are capable of both showing neutrality and supporting or attacking the Survivor, depending on the chosen organization. The virtual reality mode will make the gamer a full-fledged part of the dying earth, when he does not just control a little man, he is that little man. The player will feel what it's like when Wild Ghouls and a hungry Yao-Gai are running towards him, with only a pistol and a couple of bullets in his pocket, and his health level leaving much to be desired.
