Fallout: New California

Fallout: New California is a large-scale fan mod for New Vegas. Its action takes place before the events of the original. On the outskirts of the NCR territory is Vault 18, where the main character created by the player will begin his journey. As a result of the internecine conflict, it will be destroyed, and the protagonist will have to try to learn to live on the surface. The world is torn apart by a war between different groups, each of which has its own motivation, but they are united by the desire to take possession of the mysterious Brazil project. What role the gamer will play in this confrontation depends only on him.An important detail of the role-playing component of Fallout: New California is the need to make a decisive choice at the beginning of the story - to be a fighter who solves issues by force, or a physically weak intellectual scientist. It will determine abilities, options for completing tasks, relationships with some non-player characters. The main character can travel not only alone, but also with companions who will share the load, help in battles and periodically make comments about what is happening. Each of them has special skills and a backstory. As you progress, you will need to make a decision about joining one of the factions (New California Republic, Enclave, Raiders, Shi Clan and others), which will affect the ending. The modification adds hundreds of locations around San Bernardino, thousands of NPCs, dozens of quests and two radio stations.
