The player is responsible for selecting units for the squad. The outcome of battles with enemy armies depends on the chosen fighters and the correct strategy. The game takes place on large randomly generated maps. Controlling the main character, you need to find allies. The main character is gradually pumped up in battles, increasing his level and receiving new abilities. The remaining units are improved in a different way: you need to collect three identical fighters and combine them into a stronger version. In addition, they can be given improved equipment. It is not only the selection of units that is important, but also their placement in battle. The player can create various formations, experimenting with the placement of allies before the battle. The battle takes place in real time with the ability to pause. You can manually control each unit, but this is not at all necessary. Advanced AI copes with combat quite well, so, if desired, the player can control only the main character. But at the same time, you can take control of other fighters at any time, this can be useful in critical situations or for implementing non-standard tactics.
