Far Cry Primal is an action adventure with a huge open world and a first-person view, another part of the famous franchise, in the development of which the Ukrainian division of Ubisoft Kiev is taking part. The action takes place in the Mesolithic era, which really took place in the history of the development of planet Earth. The territory called Urus is completely fictional and has no analogues. A single-player campaign starts 10,000 years BC, when humanity did not have advanced technologies and was under constant pressure from predatory animals, often attacking small groups of primitive inhabitants of the lands. The gamer gets control of a character named Takkar - a hunter of a tribe that was destroyed by other people. Now his goal is to find a way to take revenge on those who participated in this. The player will have to travel a lot around the game world in order to find resources to build his own camp, where allied NPCs live, as well as to destroy enemies, hunt for skins and food and other additional activities and optional quests. You can move around the area using riding animals tamed by Takkar, or using fast travel to familiar places. The protagonist has a tame owl at his disposal, which helps to conduct reconnaissance of enemy territories and marks enemies. The crafting system allows you to create first aid kits, throwing weapons, such as spears and axes, which are made from improvised means collected in the territory of Urus. To create a sense of presence in a primitive environment, all dialogues are recorded in the primitive language used at that time, created on the basis of Proto-Indo-European.
