Fate of the World is an ecological strategy in which the entire planet will become a map, and the consequences of actions and decisions taken will determine its future. The player acts as the head of the international organization GEO, responsible for preventing global disasters on Earth. The main challenges facing the player are the protection of exhaustible natural resources, climate security issues, the demographic crisis, the collapse of the financial and social spheres. Scientific data was used in the creation of the game, and a model of the world was recreated taking into account both the current man-made situation and the expected breakthroughs in the future. The starting point of Fate of the World is 2020, and it will take 200 game years to solve current global issues. The world is divided into regions, each of which has its own economic, political and social situation. In order to start influencing problem areas, the player needs to send agents to the country of interest, after which they will be able to perform the required tasks. The player can get an understanding of what needs to be changed from constantly updated news and a variety of statistical data. For example, you can persuade people to use alternative energy sources, develop medicine, put pressure on the government to finance environmental protection programs. After all the actions, the turn will end, 5 years will pass in the game, and you can see whether the actions taken have brought positive results, or it is worth looking for other levers of influence. The game provides 4 scenarios, one of which is aimed not at saving the planet, but at its destruction.
