Fishing Planet is a unique fishing simulator, thought out to the smallest detail in all the details of the gameplay. According to the developers, the main advantages of the project are photorealistic graphics and a physical model of the world. To recreate an environment that is close in parameters to the real one, the creators used their own software. It uses several hundred photographs of the object and the output is a scan of the object, in appearance indistinguishable from the real one. Also in Planet Fishing, much attention was paid to the display of the water surface of fresh water bodies and the habits of river fish. It turns out that most game engines use a model of the behavior of the marine water environment, and it differs in its parameters from fresh water, so the programmers wrote the interaction of objects and fish with fresh water from scratch. For more excitement during the extraction of rare specimens of fish, they additionally consulted with masters of the fishing industry and with their help created artificial intelligence that really imitates the behavior of the inhabitants of river reservoirs. In the game, after each game session, the character earns local currency and experience. These resources are spent on purchasing new equipment and opening new locations. The content is constantly being updated: players will have access to 22 locations for competitions and more than 150 species of real fish. Competitions are held using various gear. You can catch prey using spinning rods, bottom and regular float rods. There is also transport in the game: metal and rubber boats.
